Four new songs serve as a placeholder to completing the follow up to Counterspells.
Two songs emerged that didn't quite fit into the feel and concept of the new album. These two songs were "Little Ghost" and "Keeping My Clothes Warm". During the mixing of these songs, "Deep Fake" presented itself and I made the decision to go for an EP. Finally, while mastering the EP, "The Skeleton Outline" showed up and was recorded in two takes, the night before the masters were due.
Drawing images from fictional places blended with real life encounters, The Deep Fake EP serves as a critical marker of my musical journey.
A sign of the times.
"Deep Fake" will appear on the upcoming full length album.
